Minnesota Scholarship Online is scheduled to launch on UPSO in August 2015, and will bring almost 400 titles in a broad range of subject areas. Speaking about the forthcoming launch of Minnesota Scholarship Online, Doug Armato, Director of the Press, said: “We’ve admired Oxford Scholarship Online and University Press Scholarship Online from its launch in 2003 and have heard nothing but praise for it from librarians, scholars, and fellow publishers.  Thus, we’re very excited at this new partnership." Minnesota is especially strong in humanities and social sciences publishing, and will be adding two completely new modules to UPSO - 'Art' and 'Architecture'.

"The University of Minnesota Press has long had one of the most varied and unpredictable publishing programs among university presses", said Niko Pfund, President of OUP USA.  "The pleasure of reading through a Minnesota catalog is that you never know what you might find, whether its long-established theory list and its effervescent program in American Studies or its publishing around the ever-influential Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) or even Goodnight Loon, a Northwoods retelling of the children’s classic."

With a distinguished publishing history stretching back to the 1890s, the Press is renowned for its high-quality publishing across the sciences, social sciences, and humanities.  President and Director of the Press, Jennifer Crewe, said: "OUP has created an outstanding platform for discovering the best research available, and this partnership will enable us to join many esteemed university press peers and to expand UPSO's holdings with our list". On Columbia's publishing, Niko Pfund said "Columbia University Press boasts an unfailingly interesting publishing program that is never lacking for surprises.  With a history steeped both in tradition ... the press offers up an impressively diverse menu of scholarship to researchers and general readers alike."
