This concluding chapter discusses the various changes in the housing sector that have occurred over the years. It begins with a discussion of the current housing trends, followed by a section on the future tensions and conflicts that surround the two main cleavages: socio-spatial segregation and intergenerational issues. This is followed by a study on the continuing themes, as well as the things that researchers still do not know about housing and housing policy. The chapter ends with a section on the things that need to happen in the housing sector in the future.
